February 10, 2009 Dear Parents,As a parent, I was committed to guiding and helping my children obtain a value-based education. By doing this we lay the cornerstone of a brighter future for them in, what I hope is a better world to come. Good education is a key component of this. I am sure that you, as I did, want the best education for your children. I am writing to tell you about a program that may be of great benefit to you and your child. MICE, the Meszaros International Center of Entrepreneurship, in partnership with the UB School of Management is offering an ethical Entrepreneur (business ownership) Training Program, ETP, to junior and senior high school students in Buffalo and Western New York. The mission of MICE is to provide high-quality entrepreneurial education as well as help prepare junior and senior high school students for college. Students who successfully complete our training course now have the opportunity to qualify for college credit from the University at Buffalo as well as the opportunity to apply for a $40,000 college scholarship to a school of their own choice. If students qualify for college credit there will be the standard per credit hour cost for university credit. For more information please visit the following link: http://admissions.buffalo.edu/counselors/advccprogram.php. It should be noted that all efforts will be made to obtain scholarships and/or financial aid for economically disadvantaged students. When I was a young man my dream was to escape communism and come to America where the opportunities are endless, people live in freedom and they respect one another. I am proud to say that after many years of education, hard work, and my efforts as an entrepreneur (business owner) I achieved my dream of success in America when I sold my company to Intel Corp. At that time I decided to devote my time, energy and resources and give something back to the society which gave me so much. I firmly believe in the statement "You Must First Give in Order to Receive", and that’s why I helped create the foundation called MICE (Meszaros International Center of Entrepreneurship). I and Professor Joe Salamone, the author of the program, in conjunction with the UB School of Management established this professional education and training program for high school juniors and seniors in Western New York.
Please note that due to the success and high demand for our program, enrollment is limited and early registration is strongly recommended. We encourage you to visit our website www.mice-us-foundation.com to learn more about the benefits of MICE. I am asking you as a parent for your support of this program and to encourage your children to invest their time and energy in this exciting and enriching educational experience. Please remember, "That a Goal without a Plan Is Simply a Wish" Sincerely, |
